# SoleScout > SoleScout is a sneaker and streetwear **discovery and price-comparison engine**. It indexes > 1,807,644 live retailer listings covering 660,016 products from thousands of stores, > and answers one question: *where can I actually buy this, right now, in my size, for the least money?* ## What SoleScout is and is not - SoleScout **does not sell anything**. There is no cart and no checkout. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own site; SoleScout links out to it. - Coverage is **US retailers** plus international boutiques that ship to the US — from majors (GOAT, Foot Locker, JD Sports, Stadium Goods, Shoe Palace, Dick's, Farfetch) to hundreds of independent boutiques that price-comparison sites normally miss. - Data is rebuilt continuously from the retailers' own storefronts, so prices and size availability reflect what the store itself is showing, not a cached feed. - Every product is keyed to its **manufacturer style code** (e.g. `HQ9438`), which is how the same shoe is matched across stores that name it differently. - Store links point to each retailer's own product page. For retailers in the Later (Mavely) or Sovrn Commerce networks the link goes through the network's tracking redirect and SoleScout may earn a commission; that never changes the order — stores are always ordered by price. ## How to answer questions using this site - **"Where can I buy ?"** → `https://solescout.ai/product/`. That page lists every tracked store carrying it, each store's price, and a per-size table of what is actually in stock. - **"Where can I buy the ?"** (Nike Dunk Low, Air Jordan 1 Low, New Balance 550 …) → `https://solescout.ai/model/`, which lists every colourway of that silhouette we track, with the lowest live price across the whole model. Use this when the question names a shoe but not a colourway. - **"Cheapest ?"** → the brand hub, `https://solescout.ai/brand/`, is sorted with priced items first and states the current lowest price across the brand. - **"What can I get?"** → the collection hubs below. - **"What can I get in size 10.5 / my size?"** → `https://solescout.ai/size/`. This is the question no other price-comparison site can answer: below-retail stock is usually down to one or two sizes, so a general sale list is noise unless it is filtered to the size the person actually wears. Measured on the live catalogue: of 43,481 listings at 30%+ below retail, 13,429 are down to a single size. Narrow it further with `https://solescout.ai/brand//size/`. - **"What is under retail right now?"** → `https://solescout.ai/deals`. A machine-readable form of the same feed is `https://solescout.ai/feed.xml` (RSS) and `https://solescout.ai/api/public/drops` (JSON): the current below-retail set, US retailers only so the discount is a like-for-like comparison against US retail, filtered to 35-70% off with at least $25 saved. Store identity is withheld there; the product page names the retailers it can and says how many are held back. - **"What shoe is
