The Field Shorts are a new addition to the Needles lineup, though one could be forgiven for thinking that this is a piece from Nepenthes sibling brand Engineered Garments, given the generous pocket and button placement. Alas, this is a pure Needles piece that draws from military inspiration and is reinterpreted into relaxed fitting shorts.

On the material front, the cotton and nylon blend body is reminiscent of the olive drab worn by service people out in battlefields around the world, but this Needles version will unlikely see frontline use. Snaps and pockets galore provide practical touches to an already very wearable garment.
