Privacy Policy

SoleScout is operated by END ARCHIVE LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, and which third parties are involved. We do not sell personal information.

Who we are

SoleScout (https://solescout.ai) is a sneaker and streetwear discovery and price-comparison service operated by END ARCHIVE LLC. We do not sell products. We index what other retailers are selling and link you to their own store pages.

What we collect

Account detailsIf you create an account: your email address and any name or profile image you choose to provide. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we store your account identifier and which plan you are on.
Payment detailsCard details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach our servers. We store the Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status so we know what your account has access to.
Usage dataStandard web analytics: pages viewed, approximate location by country, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Collected via Google Analytics 4.
Scout AI conversationsMessages you send to the Scout AI assistant are transmitted to our AI provider to generate a reply. Do not put sensitive personal information into the assistant.
Server logsStandard request logs including IP address, kept for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting.

Third parties that process data

We use the following services. Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data it receives.

ClerkAccount creation and sign-in.
StripeSubscription payments and billing portal. Stripe is the controller of your payment card data.
Google Analytics 4Aggregate usage measurement. Sets analytics cookies.
SkimlinksRuns on every page and may rewrite outbound retailer links into affiliate links, setting a cookie to attribute a purchase. This never changes the price you pay.
DeepSeekProcesses the messages you send to the Scout AI assistant in order to generate responses.
RenderHosting and infrastructure.

Cookies

We use cookies for three purposes: keeping you signed in (Clerk), measuring aggregate usage (Google Analytics), and attributing affiliate referrals when you click through to a retailer (Skimlinks). Browsing and searching SoleScout does not require an account, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time — signed-in features will stop working if you block the authentication cookie.

Retailer data and links

Prices, sizes and availability shown on SoleScout are compiled from the public storefronts of approximately 589 retailers. When you click through to a retailer, you leave SoleScout and that retailer's own privacy policy and terms apply to everything that happens next, including your purchase, payment, shipping and returns.

How we use data

To operate the service (show you prices and sizes, run your account, process your subscription), to measure and improve it in aggregate, to prevent abuse and enforce rate limits, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for their own marketing.

Retention

Account and subscription records are kept while your account exists and for as long as needed afterwards to meet tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. Server logs are kept for a short operational window.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of California may request disclosure of the categories of information collected and may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell personal information.

To make a request, email support@solescout.ai from the address on your account. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

SoleScout is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify account holders by email.
