Questions
Does SoleScout sell shoes?
No. There is no cart and no checkout. SoleScout indexes what other retailers are selling and links you to their own product page. Every purchase, payment, shipping question and return is between you and that store.
Where do the prices come from?
From each retailer's own storefront, rebuilt continuously rather than from a syndicated feed. That's why the in-stock sizes on a product page match what the store itself is showing. Prices still move daily, so confirm on the retailer's page before buying.
How do you know two stores are selling the same shoe?
By manufacturer style code — the code printed on the box, like DD1391-100 or HQ9438. Every one of the products we track carries one, so listings that name the same shoe completely differently still line up. You can look any code up directly at https://solescout.ai/sku/DD1391-100.
Why are some retailers hidden?
Stores we have an affiliate relationship with are shown by name, because a click there supports SoleScout. The rest of the tracked retailers are shown as a count and a price, and revealing their names is what the paid plans are for — a free account includes three reveals a day.
Do affiliate links change what I pay or how stores are ranked?
Neither. Affiliate links cost you nothing extra, and stores are always ordered by price — a partner store never gets placed above a cheaper one.
