On on cloudultra pro lace up sneakers

The On Cloudultra Pro is purpose-built for ultra-distance trail running, designed to stay efficient, stable, and reliable deep into long efforts. Developed with elite ultra athletes, it prioritizes protection and control without drifting into overly soft or bulky territory.

Underfoot, the ride is firm and efficient, helping conserve energy over hours on trail. The platform remains composed on uneven and technical terrain, making it well suited for long races, mountainous courses, and sustained training runs where stability matters more than bounce. Compared to shorter-distance trail racers, the Cloudultra Pro offers more structure and protection for late-race fatigue and changing terrain.

This is not a maximal comfort cruiser, but it is also not a stripped-down race flat. The Cloudultra Pro sits in the performance-ultra category - built for runners tackling long distances who want a stable, responsive shoe that holds up from the first climb to the final descent.
